X Factor Winner Tate Stevens’s Debut Album Gets a Release Date
As winner of The X Factor 2012, Tate Stevens landed a coveted $5 million recording contract. But while the 37-year-old Missouri native debuted his first single, “Holler If You’re With Me,” with a Pepsi ad that aired during the 2013 Grammys, there’s been no official info about his actual album — until now.
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Tate’s debut album will be hitting store shelves on April 23, 2013. The guitar-playing crooner’s first album will be self-titled, and it will include three songs in which Tate was a co-writer.
“For someone that has dreamt of recording and releasing music for over a decade, to say I’m excited is an understatement,” Tate says. In addition to “Holler If You’re With Me,” Tate’s album will also include the single, “Power of a Love Song.”
Yet Tate wants to assure fans that his music won’t be simply one note. “I feel like the songs we selected for the album are a real reflection of my personality — they range from fun-loving to serious and everything in between."
