Glee Spoiler: Blaine’s “Guilty Pleasure” Involves Sam — and Bare Legs!

Blaine (Darren Criss) and Sam (Chord Overstreet). Sam and Blaine. It’s pretty difficult to put into words how much we love these two. BLAM just might be out new favorite Glee pairing.

So what could possibly top this adorable friendship duo? Why... taking BLAM and turning it into WHAM!

Glee Season 4, Episode 17: “Guilty Pleasures” is all about embracing the things you secretly love, even though you think you shouldn’t. For Blaine and Sam, it appears that means ridiculous 80s pop bands!

On February 28, creator Ryan Murphy tweeted a photo of a colorful new Blam performance, and the two boys are all decked out in the most ridiculous of 80s attire.

The New Wham!” he tweeted. Wham! is the British musical duo of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, who skyrocketed to fame in the early 80s with hits like “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.”

There’s no official confirmation that this particular tune is the Wham! hit Glee will cover in the episode, but we’re willing to say it’s a pretty safe bet.

We’re loving Sam and Blaine’s matchy-matchy orange and blue outfits. Oh, and don’t even getting us started on their rolled-up socks or those tan-to-white skin-baring shorts. It’s cheesy. It’s 80s. Its fantastic.

Our only gripe? If Sam gets to wear funky colored sunglasses, why doesn’t Blaine? Darren Criss used to practically live in a pair of pink sunglasses. You can’t give us a curly-haired Blaine, but then deny us his pink sunglasses! Cruel. And. Unusual.

Both Darren and Chord have tweeted about filming the song. On February 28, Chord wrote, “Having so fun w this number! Can't wait for y'all to see it! Its a Step back into the 80's”

Earlier in the week, during dance rehearsals for the scene, he’d tweeted, ”Best dance rehearsal ever!!!! Cheers to @ZachWoodlee for making everything much more fun, easy & entertaining this am.#dancingoffahangover”

Darren, too, chimed in, writing, “Thank god that song is so damn awesome, otherwise that Monday morning dance rehearsal would've been les miserable.@chordoverstreet #Blam!”
