This isn't the first — or even hundredth time — that we've heard Lindsay Lohan is sober. But that's not the only news her lawyer, Mark Heller, had to share in his press conference outside an L.A courthouse yesterday, March 1. The starlet's attorney divulged to the Page Six that LiLo was spending the day at a school in NYC with plans to help autistic kids.
While it's hard to imagine how Lindsay could actually help such a specialized group of youngsters, it's nice to think of The Canyons star racking up some good karma at long last. She may even be processing her life events in a serious way, as Heller added that Lindsay is in intensive psychotherapy, on a bid to avoid another stint in rehab.
However, there's always substantial trouble in paradise when it comes to Miss Lohan, who is on probation for allegedly stealing a necklace back in 2011. She's also under fire with regards to a car crash that happened last summer on the Pacific Coast Highway. While she claims to have just been a passenger, cops insist she was in fact the driver. Heller didn't disclose the name of the school Lindsay was visiting, but he did add that she wasn't going to "alert the media" about it, which is a funny thing to say in a press conference. If LiLo is really intent on helping kids, we think it's awesome. We just hope she won't be driving them anywhere.
