Who Is “A”? Our Top 5 Suspects From Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 21

So, you’re still dying to know who else is on the “A” team on Pretty Little Liars. Don’t worry — we’ve got our crack team of sleuths on the case, analyzing every clue for your mystery-solving pleasure.

Who else is “A”? Here are some hints from Season 3, Episode 21: “Out of Sight, Out of Mind,” that may help us solve this thing for good.

And don't forget to check out our 10 Burning Questions from the episode for even more hints and clues!

5. Wren Kingston
Why he might be “A”: We don't know why Wren has been popping back into Spencer’s life in the past few weeks, but given that Toby is now possibly hurt or dead, we’re thinking Wren may have something to do with that. We know that Toby and Wren were never what you’d call besties, so maybe Mona and Wren conspired to get rid of him. Is this why Melissa referred to Wren as “bad company” last week?

Why he might not be: Wren and Spencer were pretty darn cute last week, so we’re really hoping he isn’t “A.” Come to think of it, our biggest Wren-related shock this week is the fact that he wasn’t the doctor who was patching up Malcolm at the hospital. C’mon, Wren you seem to be the only doctor in Rosewood at times, so can’t you handle the pediatrics wing, too?

4. Aria Montgomery
Why she might be “A”: We couldn’t help but be suspicious when Malcolm told Ezra, “Aria’s the conductor.” Could this be a hint, with “conductor” being code for “A”? Hmmm. And Spencer finds the “E” and the “M” in the sympathy sash — which could stand for “Ezra” and “Maggie.” Maybe Aria is targeting those two?

Why she might not be: Aria’s storyline has been more about getting to know Malcolm than anything to do with “A,” so she’s been a little out of the loop lately. Plus, would Aria really be “A”? We seriously doubt it, but you never know.

3. CeCe Drake
Why she might be “A”: We’re thinking it wasn’t Toby’s body in the woods but possibly Wilden’s, and if that’s the case, we definitely can imagine CeCe wanting Wilden dead. Whatever Wilden said to CeCe in his car last week is still a mystery, but we’re guessing it wasn’t pleasant. Also, we wouldn’t be surprised if the new guy who keeps talking to Emily this week is some friend of CeCe’s. It’s no secret that CeCe knows a lot of strange men.

Why she might not be “A”: She claimed to be skipping town last week, so maybe she really did leave. We still don’t know CeCe well enough to know what her motive would be for being “A,” but we do know she’s creep, so we’re sure we’ll get a motive soon enough.

2. Melissa Hastings
Why she might be “A”: If Wilden, not Toby, is in fact the person who’s dead, then Melissa becomes very suspicious, given that she clearly knew him back at Cape May. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if Melissa was dating Garrett to get info on Wilden not to mention that Melissa’s presence on the night of Ali’s murder gives us the creeps. And let’s not forget the whole steam room incident from last week, which might have been Melissa’s doing.

Why she might not be: Melissa isn’t giving us a whole lot of reasons to trust her lately, but it would still be pretty messed up for her to be tormenting her own sister. Then again, Melissa is doing a lot of things that seem fishy these days.

1. Alison DiLaurentis
Why she might be “A”: If Toby is in fact dead or hurt, we can definitely see Ali wanting to punish him, given their long-standing feud especially since we now know Ali visited him in juvie. And if the body is Wilden’s, then we can see Ali wanting to kill him, too, especially if he’s the one who tried to kill her, as it’s starting to seem. Either way, Ali is looking pretty guilty.

Why she might not be “A”: Ali has made her way back to our top spot on this list, meaning she’s seeming more like “A” than anyone else these days. We don’t see any strong reasons why she wouldn’t be “A” at the moment (other than the part where she's supposed to be dead, but that could easily be explained away).

I think it's someone else.

I think it's Ali!
