X Factor 2013: Carrie Underwood Wants to Be a Judge!
When naming the sweetheart of American Idol, it’s hard to choose between the original winner, Kelly Clarkson, and season four’s country gal, Carrie Underwood. They’re both shining examples of what the FOX reality show can do for someone’s career.
We already know that Kelly would never be a judge on Idol, but what about Carrie? As it turns out, the darling crooner would love to try her hand at judging a reality singing competition — just not the one that made her famous! In fact, Carrie’s practically volunteering herself for the gig on X Factor.
As she told Glamour, “I’d never say never. I think I could do things in a very constructive way. But those initial auditions, where you have to say no or tell someone to stop? I don’t know if I could do that.”
The gorgeous starlet has been an outspoken advocate for PETA, and even once took to the media to criticize her fellow celebs for trying to use their influence in the political sphere. So Carrie is definitely not afraid to speak her mind.
We think she’d have the perfect balance of constructive criticism and sensitivity. Maybe we should start a grassroots campaign — Carrie for X Factor judge!
