This supermodel is clearly not “out” of reality TV. As first reported by TMZ, longtime Project Runway host and single mother of four Heidi Klum has signed on as the fourth judge of the NBC competition show America’s Got Talent. Considering that filming for the first episode begins tomorrow, March 4, in New Orleans, Heidi’s is a last-minute addition. She replaces Sharon Osbourne, who left the show in 2012. Sharon’s exit was far from easy, coming as a part of a nasty feud with NBC over her son Jack’s exit from another competition show, Stars Earn Stripes, after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Heidi apparently already has her judge’s “X” all marked out for her on set, ready to use it to destroy the hopes of all kinds of creative types, not just designers. She joins Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, also a new addition. What do you think of lineup of America’s Got Talent judges this year? Sound off in the comments below!
