Sean “Diddy” Combs Reveals That He Used to Be a Bed Wetter

In probably the least cool, but most loveable and relatable statement ever, Sean “Diddy” Combs admitted that he used to be a bed wetter.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, Diddy and his business partner, Ted star Mark Wahlberg, spoke to the host about their new water brand AQUAhydrate.

Diddy told Ellen, “One thing I want to say is, I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid. Never drank water. I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter.”

“Okay, I guess I’m confessing that I used to be a bed wetter,” said Diddy. Oh, Diddy, we feel your pain. The mogul went on to confess, “I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day that I had a sleepover and I didn’t wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed.”

He went on to share that he feels that sugar was his pee pee sheets nemesis. “There is something about sugar that makes you wet the bed. So to all your boys and girls out there, as Muhammad Ali used to tell you [to] brush your teeth, I’m telling you to drink water, okay? It will stop you from wetting the bed, and you won’t be embarrassed in front of the girls at sleepovers,” said Diddy.

Two things here: First, we’re not sure that medical professionals will agree that sugar makes you pee your bed, and second, we completely appreciate his honesty, but how old was Diddy during these co-ed sleepovers? Inquiring minds want to know!
