Teen Mom 3’s Mackenzie Douthit Shares Her Go-To Diet Foods!
Mackenzie Douthit packed on some major pounds during her stint on 16 and Pregnant, but this Teen Mom 3 to-be dropped all her baby weight in a mere matter of weeks thanks to a hardcore fitness regime and a healthy diet! Mackenzie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the tender age of 11, and makes sure to eat tons of healthy foods to regulate her blood sugar and keep her hot bod fit n' fine.
The good news? Mackenzie is finally taking the interwebs by storm and teaching Teen Mom fans how to get her enviable figure — she even blogged about her go-to diet foods! Mackenzie tries to eat about 150-450 calories for breakfast, 80-150 calories during snack time round one, 100-400 calories for lunch, 50-150 calories for snack time round two and three, and then 100-400 calories for dinner.
This gal also recommends keeping a food diary to track your calorie intake and suggests eating the following goodies: bananas, apples, grapes, avocados, tomatoes, spinach, corn, salmon, grilled chicken, peanut butter, and cucumbers (to name a few). She even went to the trouble of telling her fans how many calories are in each of her fave snacks!
"These aren't all of them but a lot of my everyday foods," Mackenzie writes on her blog. "I made a list to give everyone an idea of everything and what they have in them. These are foods that everyone needs in there [sic] daily meal plan. I usually eat a granola bar or yogurt for my snacks. One BIG thing is to get rid of all that junk food in your house."
Wait. Does this mean we have to throw away our tub of chicken and waffle flavored chips? Because we're pretty sure those count as a vegetable.
