American Idol 2013: Angela Miller’s Vocal Coach Is Which TV Star’s Mom?
If you heard the amazing performance American Idolhopeful Angela Miller gave during the semi-finals round, you might just be wondering where she learned to sing like that! We have part of the answer!
American Idol has certainly changed in its 12 seasons, and one big way is the higher visibility these singers have with social media platforms like Twitter. Super successful hopeful Angela Miller, who we have predicted could win it all, proved Idol is one, big happy family via her Twitter account this week.
Angela tweeted a photo of herself with her new vocal coaches, Michael Orland and Peisha McPhee -- who just happens to be mom to Smash star and American Idol alum Katharine McPhee. Angela calls them “amazing” in her tweet, and if they have had any hand in her recent performances, we’d have to agree.
The 18-year-old Boston-area native also showed her affection for fellow contestant Lazaro Arbos recently, tweeting, “If you don’t already, you should follow @lazaromusic!! And watch him sing his heart out on Idol this week!!”
We also caught this exchange between the two hopefuls:
“@lazaromusic: Love you @Angiemillerpic.twitter.com/dUJnUQIZPl” Love you too!!! Do GREAT this week!”
Wow! Are these two just giant fans of one another, or could this be a love connection? Things that make you go “hmmmm...” on Idol season 12! They do have common ground, in that Lazaro Arbos has a stutter while Angela has hearing loss in both ears.
