Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Who Is Camille Grammer of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Camille Grammer has made headlines for many things, but her divorce from actor Kelsey Grammer is certainly at the top of the list. But there’s a lot more to this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star than her messy marriage. Who is Camille Grammer?

Born Camille Donatacci, she grew up as a dancer, which is how she started her career shaking her lycra-clad moneymaker on Club MTV in the late ‘80s. That gig led to small roles in music videos and films like Private Parts and Deconstructing Harry, and she also graced the pages of Playboy on more than one occasion.

In 1996, Camille met twice-divorced actor Kelsey Grammer on a blind date, and evidently it went well because they were married in 1997. The couple had two children together: Daughter Mason was born in 2001, and son Jude in 2004. Because Camille suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, both children were born via a surrogate mother.

The Grammers seemed to be a happy family of four until 2010. Kelsey was starring in Broadway’s La Cage aux Folles, so she was home with the kids, he was off in New York...and he’d starting dating young flight attendant Kayte Walsh. Camille filed for divorce on July 1, 2010.

Shortly after Camille filed for divorce, it was announced that she would be appearing on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! The series hit the small screen on October 14, 2010, and Camille quickly became one of the most how should we put this controversial characters in the reality franchise. But given her marital situation, can you blame her?

Luckily, as things calmed down in Camille’s life, she cooled things down on the show. She walked away with $50 million in her divorce, thanks to the fact that she and Kelsey didn’t have a prenup.

Camille became more of a supporting cast member in RHoBH’s third season, and she reportedly won’t be back for Season 4.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans will sure miss Camille Grammer, but we’re not sure how much she’ll miss the show! If she does, we’re sure she can count on hunky new boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos to comfort her.
