Bachelor Sean Lowe: I Had a “Mental Breakdown” Before Proposing
The Bachelor Season 17 love journey will end Monday, March 11, 2013, when Sean Lowe picks either Catherine Giudici or Lindsay Yenter in Thailand. The only bad thing about being in love? Being in love with two girls at one time. Sean finds this out the hard way, as he comes down to the final decision: Which girl does he love the most? Who can he see making his wife?
Teasing the finale to Mario Lopez for On With Mario, Sean reveals he’s happy with his decision, but basically had a “mental breakdown” making it. “I made it out on the other end alive,” Sean says. “You’ll see on Monday, I’m left with two of the most phenomenal women in the world. You’re going to see me, basically, have a mental breakdown.”
In addition to a proposal (yes, he does make one), expect to see Sean shed some major tears. “I was always proud of the fact that through The Bachelorette and every episode except for the last of The Bachelor, I never cried once. I had my man-card in tact, and then the emotion just pours of of me that last day,” he recounts. “I lose it all.”
One factor in Sean’s breakdown is undoubtedly the letter Catherine hands him in the eleventh hour — a letter disclosing something “important” she felt she needed to share with him before he made his final decision.
Tune in to ABC Monday, March 11, 2013, at 8pm to see Sean make his final pick!
