Who Will Win American Idol 2013? Our Prediction Based on the Top 10 Results

We don’t want to brag (okay, yes we do), but we’ve hailed Angie Miller as the potential American Idol 2013 winner since the Top 40 were chosen. Here we are now, with the Top 10 of season 12 just being revealed, and the online buzz is this girl is still a winner. And, with 30,634 likes (and counting) on Facebook, it’s hard to argue with the numbers.

Angie has impressed the judges from her very first American Idol Season 12 audition in New York, where she sang Jessie J’s “Mama Knows Best”. It was there that she revealed that she has 40% hearing loss in her left ear, and 20% hearing loss in her right. As Mariah Carey said, having full hearing is crucial when being a singer, but no one could argue that her performance blew them away. Since then, she has been amazingly consistent but, as everyone knows, it was her original song during Hollywood Week that will go down in American Idol history.

The 18-year-old Boston-area native performed the song, called “You Set Me Free,” while seated at the piano. She introduced it as a song that is about being set free from baggage, and you can hear the judges commenting on how amazing it is as she sings. Not surprisingly, she received a standing ovation from all four judges when the performance was over.

In her pre-performance package this past week, Angie says she knows people think she may have peaked during Hollywood Week, but she assures us the best is yet to come. And we believe her. That’s why we’ve predicted that Angela “Angie” Miller will be the American Idol 2013 winner!

What do you think of our prediction? Who do you think will win?
