Game of Thrones Season 3: Awesome EW Cover Promotes “Best” Season Yet

Seven hells — what a gorgeous cover!

Game of Thrones Season 3 premieres Sunday, March 31 on HBO. Teasers are starting to pick up, and you can read details here on the premiere, "Valar Dohaeris."

GoT is on the new cover of Entertainment Weekly, and showrunners David Benioff talked up Season 3. “Like the book, it builds,” Benioff said. “Once the season kicks into gear, we’ve already seen stuff that makes me think it will be the best one yet. And it ought to be.”

One "Scene Which Shall Not Be Named" (Benioff’s phrase) reportedly left everyone on set devastated. “I’ve never seen the crew so emotional,” Benioff says. “If the scene has that effect on the people making it who know what’s coming, if they’re that overpowered, I think it’s going to have an overwhelming effect on people watching it." We think we know which scene he means.

Episode titles have been revealed for most of the season, in case you want a little preview of what may be coming. Catch up on more GoT stories right here.
