OK, so she’s not the girl in the Red Coat, but she’s donning a black hoodie and carrying out Big “A’s” agenda (like, for example, kidnapping Malcolm). In case you haven’t heard, Spencer is now on the “A” team. Her first mission? Kidnap Malcolm and take him to the carnival. Now, at first we thought “A” had crossed a line by involving a child in her sick games, but now that we know Spencer was the one responsible for carrying out the deed, we think it’s a sick and awesome twist.
The jury is still out on why Spencer joined the “A” team. Is she trying to get intel on Toby? Or does she want to confront the Big “A” herself? Of course, there’s always the theory that Spencer has adopted the age-old strategy, “If you can’t beat them, join them.” Either way, she’s officially on the “A” team.
But that’s not the only shady activity going down in Radley. We also find out Wren authorized a Radley identification card for CeCe to visit Mona. Why? Because according to Wren, CeCe knew what it was like to be mentally terrorized by Ali. After all, Ali got CeCe kicked out of university. But that’s not all. How did CeCe know Mona was in Radley? Melissa called her! So it looks like Wren just found himself in the middle of all the drama... yeah right! We still don’t trust you, 100 percent, Wren.
Meanwhile, Emily is on a mission to prove the body found in the woods didn’t belong to Toby. So she comes up with a plan to sneak into the morgue to snap a pic of the dead guy’s face to prove to Spencer it’s not Toby.
One creepy trip to the morgue later, and the Liars know the body isn’t Toby’s -- just some poor, unfortunate park ranger -- but Emily’s mom has some unsettling news for her. It seems the Rosewood police found another body in the woods... right where Spencer said she found Toby!
The body is that of a boy in his "late teens, early twenties" but they can't identify him because of "significant trauma" to his face. Yikes! We really hope this isn’t Toby. Of course, that would probably mean the body would belong to Jason. This is a lose-lose situation.
Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
