Sean Lowe: “Emily Maynard Will Not Be Invited To My Wedding”
In what shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who pays any amount of attention to ABC's flagship franchise The Bachelor, Sean Lowe has confirmed to reporters on a conference call that the former Bachelorette star, Maynard, will not be invited to his impending nuptials with Catherine Giudici.
"Emily will not be invited to the wedding. I think the world of her [Emily} but it wouldn't be the most appropriate thing to have her there,” Sean commented.
Sean become the Bachelor after an unexpected dismissal from Emily’s season of The Bachelorette, after making it all the way to Curacao as one of her final three guys. And, after a dramatic and entertaining iteration of The Bachelor this season, Sean asked for Catherine's hand in marriage during the Season 17 finale (which aired March 11, 2013).
Following the proposal, Sean and Catherine were effusive in their praise and affection for each other despite a long time apart following wrapping filming for this season of The Bachelor.
But despite their time apart, Sean’s feelings for Catherine had clearly not simmered, as he told ABC’s Chris Harrison, “I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I can’t wait to have the wedding. If It were up to me, I’d have it at the court house, but the wedding is all about the woman!”
