But American Idol alum Kellie isn't the only country star on this season. Wynonna Judd is dancing with All-Stars pro winner Tony Dovolani. Is there going to be a country star feud? Don’t count on it! “I did tell Wynonna, I'm so excited 'cause she's part of the show too,” Kellie told ET. “I've got another country girl out here! So maybe between the two of us, one of us will bring that shiny ball back to Nashville.”
Does Kellie think the votes will be split — with some country fans voting for Kellie and others for Wynonna, or maybe giving them equal votes? “I don't know,” Kellie said. “To be honest I'm not really a competitive person. I just want to have fun.” She just sees this as "an extracurricular activity." But she's partnered with a three-time DWTS champ — we know Derek has a competitive side. Plus, Kellie was on Idol, so her competitive instincts will probably kick in as time goes on.
Do you think country music fans will be split, or do Wynonna and Kellie appeal to different audiences? Anyone out there not sure which of the two they’ll support, or planning to give a couple votes to each singer? There’s also the pros to consider — Tony and Derek have their own fan bases. And we haven’t even seen the couples dance yet, so that will also be a factor.
