Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars Season 3 Finale Spoiler: Is Mona Working With the Liars? (PHOTO)

We’ve unearthed a snapshot from the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale, showing Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), and Mona (Janel Parrish) all standing over something in shock. Spence is wearing the party dress Troian tweeted a pic of herself in last year, and Mona is in her signature Team “A” uniform -- a black hoodie. It seems like this could be a big moment in the epic season finale. What are the girls standing over? And why are they so shocked?

“A” Team Reveal?
The shot is taken at an odd angle, creating the impression that whatever (or whoever) the girls are looking at, it is on the ground. Could this be an unveiling of another “A” team member? Or perhaps even Alison (Sasha Pieterse) or her twin? Or maybe someone else has come back from the dead - Toby (Keegan Allen) (if he even counts as “dead” at this point) or his mother?

Another Body?
The steep angle could also represent something not on the ground, but under it. The girls always manage to find themselves in graveyards come season premieres and finales. Are they looking into a grave? Is it empty or filled?

Alternatively, have they just stumbled upon another dead body (they seem to have a knack for this sort of thing)? Season finales usually mean an uptick in the body count, and with someone our Liars love (i.e. Maya). Who could it be this time?

Why Is Mona There?
We find it very strange that the four Liars are hanging with Hoodie Mona. Spence is clutching her phone in her hand. Was she getting directions from “A”? Were she and Mona on an “A” team mission when something went unexpectedly?

We think that this group of characters together means that the Liars somehow found out about Spence’s role on the “A” team - possibly that she let them in on it. Why else would Mona be caught black-hooded by the Liars?

The fact that Mona has an expression of surprise on her face also means that - whatever is shocking the girls - may not be “A” team-related. Otherwise, Mona would not be shocked along with the Liars.
