Revenge Season 2: Will Emily’s Foster Brother, Eli, Reveal Her Identity?
We’re all holding our breaths (and yellow lab pups) for Episode 16 of Revenge. In it, we’ll see the return of Emily Thorne’s foster brother, Eli James. According to a recent sneak peek, Eli was Emily’s protector in the abusive home of her foster family.
But to escape the pain, Emily burnt down the house because, you know, that’s what she does.
Apparently the fire separated Em and Eli forever, but unless his Thor action figure went up in the blaze, we’re not entirely sure why he’d be holding a grudge.
One thing’s for sure, Eli definitely knows that the blonde “girl next door” is really Amanda Clarke. He even says so (out loud!) at The Stowaway.
But will Eli actually reveal Em’s identity to Victoria Grayson or, potentially worse, The Initiative? That remains to be seen.
He’s obviously not in the Hamptons for some sight seeing, so what’s Eli’s end game? We have a feeling he’ll threaten Emily, but only to get answers about his former childhood friend.
The bond we saw in the flashback clip indicates that he wouldn’t do anything to serious hurt her or her mission. But there will definitely be a learning curve considering he grew up thinking David Clarke was a bad man and a terrorist who lied to his daughter Amanda.
Do you think Eli will out Emily? Tell us below!
Revenge Season 2, Episode 16, “Illumination,” airs Sunday, March 17 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
