He's been shown making out with a handful of beautiful women on this most recent season of The Bachelor and now America will watch him dance next to 11 other celebrities on Dancing With the Stars, but Sean Lowe doesn't actually relish all the attention.
Shortly after the season finale of The Bachelor where the Texan, 29, proposed to his Seattle-native Catherine Giudici, 26, he told US Weekly reporters, "In fact, I don't like the fame aspect of being the Bachelor or being on Dancing With the Stars. I wish I could -- you know, I can't go out in Dallas with my buddies anymore because I'm left taking pictures the whole night because people -- you know, they recognize me and they want to take pictures."
The reporters then asked why he would agree to be on ABC's celebrity dancing competition show and Sean responded that it was simply too much of a challenge to pass up.
Whatever happens with Sean on the dance floor, he's clear that he and Catherine won't be sticking around Hollywood in the foreseeable future.
"At some point, we want to have a life with some normalcy to it," he said. "That's not to say, I mean, opportunities may pop up that are just great and we might feel that they're great for us as a couple. …I think after Dancing With the Stars, there's a good chance we'll head to Dallas or go somewhere and resume a normal life."
