La Toya Jackson Blames Omarosa For Michael Clarke Duncan’s Death: Too Far?
The Celebrity Apprentice is never a place of sweetness and light, even when Omarosa isn't going out of her way to make people's lives miserable. But did La Toya Jackson cross the line last night on All-Stars? She referenced Omarosa's late fiance, actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who died in September 2012 at age 54.
La Toya and Omarosa were at each other's throats throughout the show, and at one point La Toya said, "Omarosa’s fiance passed away not long ago. He had a heart attack — I’m sure she gave it to him." Wow. Just last week, Omarosa was project manager and won $40,000 for the Sue Duncan Children's Center. She presented the check, tearfully, and said more about her late fiance. Yeah, Omarosa is a drama queen and she is over-acting her way through this, but that doesn't necessarily mean her feelings about her fiance were fake or forced. La Toya's comment felt below the belt. Or do you think Omarosa invited such comments by using her fiance's memory to help her on this show?
During this week's challenge, Omarosa left rehearsals after learning a TV show was going to release the 911 calls of MCD falling ill. La Toya thought leaving might be an act of sabotage, which isn't out of the question for Omarosa. When La Toya's team lost, she didn't even bring Omarosa into the boardroom, figuring Omarosa would play the sympathy card — plus, we all know Trump has no plans to fire Omarosa, despite his threats to do so. He loves his reality TV pet.
So La Toya got fired, then she lashed out more about Omarosa. “She’s a conniving, scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Duncan Clarke [sic] … and I thought Mr Trump was falling for that fake cry. Such a lie!”
Do you think La Toya deserved to be fired? Should Omarosa have been the one to go? Will Trump ever fire her?
