Andy Cohen Talks Jacqueline Laurita’s Reunion No-Show, Says She’s Different From Adrienne Maloof
It seems like it’s a growing trend to be a “no-show” at the Housewives reunion specials, especially since Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar Adrienne Maloof opted not to show up to the RHoBH Reunion taping last month. In a recent interview, Housewives head honcho Andy Cohen discusses Adrienne’s no-show, as well as the woman who started it all, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita.
As you may recall, Jacqueline was a no-show for the RHoNJ Season 3 Reunion special after tweeting she wasn’t feeling well and wouldn’t be making an appearance. Jacqueline later revealed to the press that her dysfunctional relationship with castmate Teresa Guidice was the real cause of her absence, something most viewers had suspected all along.
Andy never really addressed the situation when Jac decided to not show, but according to All About THR, when a fan asked Andy via Twitter if he was pleased about Jac going AWOL, he responded:
“I wasn’t, but two different situations.”
What is common between both situations, however, is that it is contractual obligation that these women show up to the reunion special. When the same Twitter follower then asked Andy if he thought that the “precedent was set with Jac” not showing — despite contractual obligations — Andy replied:
“I can’t comment about contract stuff but it was addressed don’t worry about it.”
Whoa. Looks like Andy is laying down the law on these ladies. Will another housewife dare not show at the reunion show? We’ll have to wait and see!
