Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 17 Burning Questions: Is Tamara “Her”?
We love all ofOnce Upon a Time’s many, many mysteries, but sometimes it seems like each episode introduces more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to make sense of everything that happened.
1. Is Tamara the person who Greg was talking to — known as “Her”?
Ever since Greg started talking to “Her,” we knew there must be a reason for the show was to hide her name. That’s why we’re thinking Neal’s fiancee, Tamara, just might be “Her,” since Tamara seems to have some kind of vendetta against Storybrooke. So maybe Tamara has been dating Neal to get to the town? Apparently, Neal isn’t the only sneaky person in that relationship.
2. Or is Tamara going to be a Neverland character?
Tamara presumably has a link to Storybrooke — so if she isn’t Greg’s “Her,” maybe she’s someone from Neverland? We wouldn’t be surprised if she’s Wendy or Tinkerbell, since Neal apparently spent some time in Peter Pan’s homeland. And maybe Neal will turn out to be Peter as well? We just want somebody to walk around in green tights in the near future.
3. Will we see Kurt again?
As a rule of thumb, it’s just best not to tangle with Regina — as Kurt, sadly learned the hard way. So we’re wondering what happened to him, and whether Owen will ever see his dad again. Greg/Owen has been so determined to track him father down that we’d like to think we’ll see him eventually, but with Regina, you never know.
4. So why don’t Owen and Kurt notice everyone acting the same each day?
We learn that the curse caused everyone in Storybrooke to basically say and do the exact same things day in and day out. So why didn’t newbies Owen and Kurt figure out that something was up when everyone always repeated what they did the day before? At least Bill Murray’s character in Groundhog Day caught on to his plight rather quickly.
We now have a better understand as to Greg — or should we say Owen’s — motivation, so we wonder if Belle will still be helping him out, as she appeared to be in the hospital. When it comes to battling Regina, Greg can use all the help he can get — and Belle certainly has an axe to grind with Regina herself. Then again, we’d rather Belle just concentrate on falling in love with Gold.
6. What will Snow and her black heart do?
Snow’s blackened heart suggests she’ll do an awful deed down the road — especially when Regina promises that Snow’s actions will break up her family. So what deviousness will Snow get involved with — or will she find a way to get back on the straight and narrow? And here we thought the biggest heart-related problem to worry about was high cholesterol.
7. Is Gold still planning to hurt Henry?
Gold and Henry spent a little time together this week, and while Gold wasn’t exactly warm and cuddly with Henry, they appear to be civil with one another. Does this mean Gold’s quest to kill Henry has come to an end? That said, Gold isn’t the type to forget about promises he makes, as Emma having to deliver on his favor would prove. Long story short: Be careful, Henry!
8. Where is Hook hiding out?
Speaking of Hook, where has the guy been lately? You’d think he’d want to finish what he started with Gold, considering his poisoned hook came this close to killing his crocodile. Now, we kinda can’t wait for a Hook-Gold showdown, so we’re anxiously looking forward to Hook showing his (oh-so-beautiful) face.
9. What has August been up to?
The promos for next week tease the reappearance of August, although something’s a little different about him. Maybe he got a haircut? No, wait — he’s now completely made out of wood. We can’t wait to see his interactions with Emma and Neal, since he was instrumental in Neal ditching Emma back in Portland. Hell hath no fury like a woman jailed.
10. Which guy will Emma end up with?
August’s return reminds us of how adorable he and Emma are together. However, it’s hard to root against Neal and Emma these days, right? Also, let’s not forget about Hook in the battle for Emma’s affections — and the late Graham, too, since his shirtless scene this week got us all hot and bothered. Let’s just say having to choose from all these dudes is not a bad problem to have.
