Every Real Housewives franchise runs on drama, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hit the jackpot when they hired Brandi Glanville.
The friction on Season 3 appeared to start when Brandi blurted out that Adrienne Maloof and then-husband Paul Nassif had their children via surrogate. But apparently, things really began ramping up offscreen between the show’s second and third seasons.
“Over our hiatus, she had done some things to me that were not pretty,” Brandi told Buzzfeed. “She didn't want me to have a job on the show, she was saying bad things about me in the press, and having her chef do really crappy things.”
In the rumor-filled land of RHoBH, the claims chef Bernie made may not seem like a big deal.
“She had Bernie say I was a bad mom,” Brandi explained, “That I drank all day, that I slept all day, and I didn't tend to my children.”
But it became a big deal when her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian read these accusations, and Brandi Glanville had to defend herself as a mother.
Brandi was so angry, she said, that she was “just being a little bit evil” when she shared Adrienne’s family secret. But then lawyers were called, and things got nasty.
“I didn't realize it was going to be like this,” Brandi said. “I didn't think about hurting her family; I wasn't trying to do that. But when I saw how it affected them, I felt really bad.”
But Brandi believes she wasn’t the only one in the wrong.
“I think she's a really entitled person,” Brandi said of Adrienne. “I am sorry for saying what I said. But at the same time, I feel like she should be sorry also.”
All things considered, Brandi sounds pretty over it.
“I have two little boys, and I have a full life,” she said. “I can't put that much energy into these women.”
It’s true, two little boys and two other feuds sure keep a lady busy!
