Naomi Watts: I Need Wrinkles, I Can’t Act If My Face Is Frozen
Naomi Watts is Nicole Kidman's best friend. Nicole recently said she hasn't had plastic surgery, but "I did try Botox, unfortunately, but I got out of it and now I can finally move my face again."
How does Naomi feel about getting a little somethin' somethin' done? She's on the April cover of Good Health, and was asked about cosmetic surgery.
"Never say never – and I certainly don’t judge anyone who does it," Naomi said (via MSN). "But most of the characters I play are going through some kind of emotional turmoil, so my job requires me to have expression. If my face is frozen, what right do I have to play that part? All the women who haven’t done anything to their faces are still able to play great roles. And some of the ones who have done something have messed it up – they look freakish. Anyway, for me it’s about playing women with rich lives – and the longer the life, the deeper the wrinkles."
The 44-year-old mother of two says she keeps healthy with Pilates, dance-cardio, yoga and tennis. She used to diet a lot in her 20s, she said, but she'd break them. "If someone told me I had to cut out carbs I would be very upset. I love bread and pizza. And I have a sweet tooth as well."
She said it was tough to get back into shape after her first son was born, but she’s also just naturally petite. Her genes may have helped her out there and they are certainly helping her to stay gorgeous into her 40s.
