Once Upon a Time Book Series Coming, Hits Stores April 27 (PHOTO)
On Once Upon a Time, the only book we’re familiar with is Henry’s fairytales, but it looks like we’ll soon have a new one to obsess over.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the hit fantasy show is debuting a novelization of Season 1, titled Reawakened,on April 27, promising to offer “fans of the show a whole new look at their favorite characters and stories.” While it isn’t set in stone yet, this first book may launch an entire series. (Our fingers are crossed!)
As in the show, the narrative will alternate between present-day Storybrooke and Fairytale Land in the past, told from Emma Swan and Snow White’s points-of-view, respectively. This is an official novelization from Disney-owned Hyperion books, which means that it should be accurate and give fans more details about our beloved show.
This isn’t the first book tie-in from ABC — Castle has a “real,” ghost-written version of Richard Castle’s Nikki Heat series from the same publisher. OUAT’s book is a different beast, though: Reawakened was penned by Odette Beane and will first hit the internet as an exclusive eBook on April 27. It will become available as a paperback nationwide on May 7.
Will you be buying this novelization, or would you rather just watch the series? Sound off below!
