On the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale we got a lot of confusing half-answers, including a pretty big suggestion that the "A" team has three members we were previously unsure about: Melissa Hastings (Torrey DeVitto), Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok), and Shana (Aeriel Miranda).
Weird assortment of people, right? But are they all voluntarily working together?
Early in the episode we learn that Shana and Jenna have a relationship, and at the end of it we learn that they are the ones who moved Wilden's body.
That alone wouldn't prove they're on the "A" team, but in the middle of the episode they and Melissa meet up, frantically discussing Spencer's party. It sure seems like they are the ones who later run around the in woods, lighting fires and knocking Toby out.
However, it's worth noting that Jenna seemed to be under duress the whole episode. The first time we see her she's talking desperately on the phone, and in the scene with Melissa she seems distraught and mentions photos. Melissa, on the other hand, refers to the Liars (presumably) as "those bitches," and seems far less confused or unwilling.
Is it possible that Melissa is a voluntary member of the "A" team, but Jenna is being blackmailed? Alternatively, do you think this team is entirely separate from the main "A" team? They did attack the house with Mona still inside, and Red Coat did rescue the girls. It seems very possible they had their own agenda. Was Jenna concerned about something else entirely?
