Pretty Little Liars Season 4: “Expect Nothing But [SPOILER],” Says Marlene King

If anyone comes out of the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 finale tonight feeling disappointed, season 4 may be your salvation! Filming on the upcoming season started last week, and showrunner Marlene King says to “expect nothing but the truth.”

We’ve already been promised thrills and chills in Season 4, but never “the truth.” Marlene tweeted this tantalizing tease for the premiere in the early hours of the morning: “What we shot 2nite for s4 premiere is keeping me awake. Oh holy terror, it's shocking. Expect nothing but the truth. Come prepared.”

If it’s keeping PLL mastermind Marlene awake, then you know it’s going to be good. Could she be referring to a Rosewood killer (the same person who pushed Ian off of the bell tower way back in season 1, perhaps)? Or does it have to do with the aftermath of the Red Coat Reveal? And Marlene wouldn’t be the first person to lose sleep over some good old-fashioned Hitchcockian terror.

Season 4 premieres June 11 with “A is For A-L-I-V-E.” If insomnia is the price, we can’t wait to lose sleep, too.

What “truth” do you think the Season 4 premiere will bring? Have you ever lost sleep after a PLL episode? Let us know in the comments below!
