It's no secret that Teen MomMaci Bookout's baby daddy Ryan Edwards is head-over-flannel for his gun collection — remember that time he stuck a pistol down his pants? So, yeah, that happened. But is Ryan considering taking his love of artillery to the next level by offering his services to the United States Military? It sure seems that way!
"Really thinking about the core!" Ryan tweeted on March 20. And by core, we're pretty sure he means "corps," but we're not judging (much).
Fans on Twitter immediately encouraged the Tennessee motocross kid to go for it. "You can do it, I joined the Air Force with a 3 yr old n twins that were 1. If I can do I know ur badass can..." a pal wrote.
"Inspiration!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!" Ryan replied.
Ryan wouldn't be the first member of the Teen Mom family to serve his country in uniform. Kailyn Lowry's husband Javi Marroquin recently joined the Air Force, and is currently stationed in Texas where he's undergoing tech training. The distance has been difficult for the young couple, but they're handling it like champs. For Ryan,
Whatever Ryan ultimately decides, it's clear he has total respect for those who put their lives on the line for the good ol' USoA. "Any man or woman that has been in the service has my up most [sic] respect," he tweeted.
While baby Bentley would surelymiss having his dad around (who will take him to Hooters?!), we don't think it's a bad idea. Ryan's been struggling with bouts of loneliness ever since his split with Dalis Connell, and this new endeavor would give him a greater sense of purpose. Who needs a GF when you're defending the country against terrorists? Exactly.
Do you think Ryan should follow in Javi's footsteps and join the military? Tell us below.
