Glee Music Spoiler: Finn and Puck Perform The Beastie Boys

Glee is going on another break, which has definitely zapped away our party spirit. But thankfully, the promo for the upcoming episode(s) gave us something to look forward to: The Beastie Boys’ “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party).”

Sure, it’s another song that’s way older than the characters singing it, but we’re going to overlook Glee’s tendency to feature music that’s way too old for its audience just this once. Because even if this song is over 20 years old, it’s just so freaking fun.

However, considering the context we got from the promo for Season 4, Episode 19: “Sweet Dreams,” it seems like it might be too much fun. Finn looks to be matriculating at college, but this seems like kind of a party school. How will Finn ever achieve his teaching aspirations if he’s spending all his free time at kegges and random “Harlem Shake” flash mobs?

The bad news is, we have to wait three whole weeks to find out if Finn is really serious about college. But the good news is there aren’t any more hiatuses for the rest of the season! Then again, there are only five episodes left in the season. What a rollercoaster of emotions we’re feeling right now!
