Divorce Docs Suggest Kordell and Porsha Stewart Have Prenup: Is Porsha Lying?
Things just went from bad to worse for Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart.
Her estranged husband, Kordell Stewart, filed for divorce on March 22, and according to the legal docs — which have been obtained by TMZ — the former pro football player has no intention of offering Porsha any spousal support. That’s cold, bro!
In the divorce documents, which also state that the couple is currently separated, Kordell claims that Porsha is able to support herself financially. “[She's] an able-bodied person, earning income and is capable of supporting herself,” the documents state.
Kordell also notes that there are no marital assets that need to be divided, which could suggest that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement. However, earlier this season on RHoA, Porsha was very proud of the fact that she and her man entered their marriage without such an arrangement.
And in a BravoTV.com blog from earlier this year, Porsha flat-out denies the existence of a prenup, writing, “We have the same beliefs when it comes to God and how WE have our purpose shown to us by God. So through bonding with him in mind, body, and spirit there is no place for a piece of paper to stand between us.”
Hmm, we were always suspicious that a former pro-athlete would tie the knot sans prenup, but is it possible that Porsha is telling the truth? Share your opinions below!
