Downton Abbey Season 4: “I Think This Is the Best Series Yet”
Remember Downton Abbey? We’ll go back there someday, even if it feels like a long time from now.
Brendan Coyle, who plays the popular Mr. Bates, talked to Red Carpet News about the new season, and how there will be so many new faces, since major actors like Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley) will be gone. "It's a rolling thing,” Brendan said of the cast. “We miss everyone. I was texting people who aren't on the show anymore just last night. We miss them. It's one of those things, you know. Nothing lasts forever." What's coming on Season 4? "I can't give any spoilers,” he said, smiling. “It amazes me just how much it fluctuates. It's a phenomenal thing. I think this is the best series yet. I've only had half the scripts [but] we have a production team that constantly strives to make it better. We have a very demanding and huge audience now."
