The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale was full of uncomfortable confrontations, many of them involving Faye Resnick.
She found a formidable foe in Lisa Vanderpump, who was in the midst of hosting her vow renewal party when Faye decided to pick a fight with her.
“I think you’re using Brandi to get even with people,” Faye said to Lisa.
Clearly annoyed by the statement, Lisa asked, “You think that I get Brandi to say things for me?”
“I think you get her all worked up, yes,” replied Faye. She brings up Adrienne, and Lisa said Brandi has her own issues with Adrienne. When Faye asked why Brandi has a problem with Adrienne, Lisa said, “Why don’t you ask her that? That’s a real insult to me, Faye.”
“I would never insult you,” Faye Resnick insisted.
“I think it’s a bloody insult to say to the hostess of a party ‘You're manipulative,’” Lisa Vanderpump said in her confessional.
Faye used the rumor about Brandi hooking up with a man at Kyle Richards’s White Party as an example of Lisa defending Brandi despite “evidence” to contrary, and Lisa got even more upset.
“Faye is being a little hypocritical here,” said Lisa. “Faye is actually guilty of what she was accusing Brandi of: spreading malicious gossip.”
When Faye compared Lisa’s actions to a calculated game of chess, Lisa says, “OK, well that’s such an insult.”
“I’m not trying to insult you,” said Faye, seemingly oblivious that her words are upsetting Lisa.
Addressing Faye’s chess comments, Lisa told the cameras in her confessional, “Checkmate, bitch.”
