The Bachelor

How Much Was Sean Lowe Paid to Be The Bachelor?

Sean Lowe had to take time out of his busy schedule of designing furniture, doing crunches, and selling insurance to star on ABC's The Bachelor so, as you might expect, he was duly compensated. In other words, Seany was paid the big bucks to wander around in various states of shirtlessness, throw women off buildings, and makeout with strangers. Oh, and ABC paid for the gorgeous Neil Lane diamond ring that he'll be presenting to either Catherine Giudici or Lindsay Yenter in The Bachelor's season finale!

So, how much did Sean get paid? According to Reality Steve, this southern gent earned between $75,000 and $90,000 for appearing on The Bachelor! This might seem like a staggering amount of money for just a few months of work, but think about it: Sean's basically had to devote his life to the show, including all the press and publicity that surrounds it.

Another consideration: a billion dates’ worth of clothes — those grey henleys aren’t going to buy themselves! And if you think Sean's salary is off the charts, it's nothing compared to the $250k Emily Maynard made during her stint on The Bachelorette Season 8!

Are you shocked up Sean's paycheck? Hit the comments!
