Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Alexis Bellino’s Husband Not Happy About RHoOC Season 8 — Exclusive!

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8 premieres on Monday, but there is one Housewife's husband who is not all that pleased about the show's return. If the show had gone off the air, Alexis Bellino's husband would have been perfectly happy to say goodbye. Rumors have been flying for months about whether or not Alexis will return for Season 8, and apparently her husband really would have perferred the answer be "no way!"

As we previously reported, Jim Bellino had privately told friends he doesn’t want his wife doing another season. Now, he’s come forward to emphasize it publicly. In an exclusive interview with Wetpaint Entertainment last summer, Jim shared his feelings about the other women on the show, why he hoped Season 7 was Alexis’s last, and where she stands on the matter.

Wetpaint Entertainment: We’ve been hearing that you don’t want Alexis on the show anymore…
Jim Bellino: I don’t. I don’t want her to do it anymore. I absolutely do not want her on the show. But Alexis will do what she wants to do. It’s completely her call.

How does it feel when you’re watching certain episodes like the ones filmed in Costa Rica?
It rips my heart out. Bullying and attacking people to the level they went after Alexis is crossing a line. What was their goal at the end of the day? To make her cry? Give her a nervous breakdown? As her husband, it was awful to watch.

If you could say one thing to Tamra, Gretchen, and Heather, what would it be?
Be nice. That’s all. Just be nice. You know, they’ve all apologized to her off-camera, but they won’t do it on camera. I don’t know why.

For you, what was the low point of the season? What upset you the most?
Tamra calling Alexis ‘Jesus Jugs.’ For me, that was the bottom. She offended so many people and she should apologize for it. Think about it: What if she had called someone ‘Jew Jugs?’ It’s making fun of someone’s faith and it’s completely unacceptable. I find it offensive and horrible. That, to me, was also crossing a huge line.

Let’s talk about something positive. What’s your family up to this summer?
Well, we just bought a new home, so we’re remodeling and moving in later this summer. We’re all looking forward to that. We’ve also been taking the kids on a few small trips here and there. And of course, our trampoline park business is continuing to grow.

What’s the status on Alexis’s return to the show? Has she made a decision?
She hasn’t yet. She’s talking to them now and we’ll see what happens. Whatever decision she makes, I just want it to be the right one for her.

We know now that Alexis will indeed be returning for Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8 premiere. Will you be happy to have her back?
