Voice Finalist Tony Lucca Talks Working With Mentor Adam Levine

Former Mouseketeer Tony Lucca fell into stardom after becoming a finalist last season on The Voice, but that was only the beginning for him.

Though Tony didn't win, he did get the chance to work with Adam Levine, which is never a bad thing given the Maroon 5 frontman's résumé and that boost of inspiration and knowledge-sharing may turn out to be exactly what Tony needs.

"'The Voice' represents a certain layer of the stratosphere where there might be fans out there that know who you are but you're still not notable enough that these four coaches would know you," Tony said in an interview with The Huffington Post's What's Trending.

But in terms of the day-to-day of working with Adam, Tony says, "We were the awkward kid in junior high that took to music and became frontmen of bands. There's an automatic shorthand."

Tony continued his compliments of the popular coach by saying, "He's an extremely smart businessman [...] His hands-on portion of the workload is finding the right people to do it."

While it is hard to imagine Adam Levine being awkward at anything, we'll take Tony's word for it.
