Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 Finale: Will [SPOILER] and [SPOILER] Reunite?

On Grey’s Anatomy, relationships are always in flux. Even Meredith and Derek, who have basically been in love since the pilot (albeit in denial for far too long), have almost ended things throughout the show’s nine seasons, and more recently, we were nervous for Callie and Arizona’s fate.

However, two couples may be getting their happy endings at the end of Season 9, and according to E! Online, the reunions will be oh-so-satisfying.

Though this is merely a blind item with a list of potential shows it could apply to, the three hints the site dropped sound a lot like Grey’s.

The spoiler-ific item says that “two fan-favorite couples reconcile, something fans have been waiting ages to see” and that this type of reconciliation can’t be broken. Also, one of the couples gets back together “after the guy saves the girl’s life” in a dramatic fashion! Based on that, we’re thinking it could be Owen and Cristina and Jackson and April — they definitely fit the criteria.

However, the last one is the oddball: “a main character will get diagnosed with cancer, and we’ll never get to see her happy again,” as there will be no resolution. Shonda Rhimes recently tweeted that a female character won’t be getting cancer, which debunks that spoiler for Grey’s, but hey — would she have ever told us that Izzie was getting cancer? No. Shonda keeps that info on lockdown.

So, for now, we’re going to say that these things aren’t happening on the Grey’s finale, but that doesn’t mean two couples won’t reunite. In Season 9, Episode 19: “Can’t Fight This Feeling,Jackson and April are getting closer — literally: she cries on his shoulder — and Owen and Cristina are still getting down and dirty, so there’s hope yet!

Do you think anyone will reunite this season? Sound off below.
