One of the episode’s lone upbeat moments was seeing how much Lisa and Ken Todd still love each other. We may have been in tears during their vows, but we were also cracking up when Lisa jokingly sends Ken away in the middle of it. We also enjoy watching Brandi cheer Lisa up just before the vows. It’s nice that these two have become such besties.
4. Lisa wants Kyle to finally back her up — but it doesn’t happen
Throughout the season, Lisa has been bothered that Kyle Richards won’t back her up — which comes up again, as Kyle doesn’t want to take sides in Lisa and Faye’s dispute. We continue to hope that Lisa and Kyle will finally get on the same page, but their relationship tends to crumble as soon as they face the slightest issue.
3. Regardless, Kim and Kyle still have their issues
Kyle and Kim’s relationship hits a roadblock this week, with Kim pouncing on Kyle for glossing over Brandi’s accusations about her — and then using the word “regardless” about a bajillion times. This was disappointing, not only for the tension between the sisters but also because we thought Kim and Brandi were now in a better place. Looks like those old wounds just won’t heal.
2. Faye accosts Lisa — at Lisa’s own party, no less
Apparently, several of the ladies are convinced that some of the Housewives get people to fight their battles for them. Faye tells Lisa to stop getting Brandi to do her dirty work for her, which Lisa considers a big insult. Then, Yolanda Foster accuses Faye of fighting Kyle and Adrienne Maloof’s battles for them. But did Faye really think that Lisa’s anniversary party was the best time to discuss this?
1. Adrienne says goodbye to her marriage — and the show
Adrienne’s final scene on the show is a somber one, as she makes a tearful appearance at Lisa’s anniversary party while discussing her separation from Paul. She leaves without acknowledging Lisa and Ken, which offends them, while Adrienne feels Lisa should have wished her well. It’s too bad these two ladies couldn’t work things out before Adrienne left the show. Sigh.
