Selma Alameri: Sean Lowe Is Afraid of Women Who Stand Up to Him
Selma Alameri was an early frontrunner on The Bachelor Season 17 — until the 29-year-old realtor refused to kiss Sean Lowe and put her foot down about jumping into the freezing-cold Lake Louise. In a new interview with Emme Magazine, Selma opens up about why she thinks Sean sent her home, what she’s up to now, and why she ever chose to go on The Bachelor in the first place.
Selma is back livin’ it up in her hometown of San Diego, flipping houses and taking names. After briefly dating Arie Luyendyk, Jr., this past spring, Selma seems to be canoodling with a certain Utah cutie(don’t worry; not Jef Holm). Her future plans include growing her business, getting married, and having lots of babies. “I have not found love, but I’m looking for love,” she tells the mag.
As for her Bachelor ex (now engaged to Catherine Giudici), Selma has a theory about why Sean sent her home. “I definitely think that Sean was scared of women who called him out on anything or willing to stand up to him,” she explains. “Anytime a girl called him out, or did say something to him that he knew he couldn’t handle, he would automatically send them home. I called him out on a couple of things which I knew was pissing him off. Our connection was great. We had a really good connection. I think at the end of the day I was just too much for him.”
What do you think? Does Sean run from strong women, or was Selma just not the right girl for him?
