Who Is Hayden Panettiere’s Rumored Fiance, Wladimir Klitschko?

Do you remember that time on Nashville when Hayden Panettiere’s character Juliette Barnes asked that chaste football player dude to marry her, and then he said yes, and they eloped, hooked up, and then annulled their marriage? Well, let’s hope real life has nothing to do with TV because rumor has it that Hayden and on-again off-again boytoy Wladimir Klitschko are engaged!

So, who the heck is this tall drink of water that has our tiny Hay-Hay all heart-explodingly, PDA-ingly, joyful? Well, to start with, don’t even think of messing with him, because the 6’6” tall Ukraine-born boy is a crazy-talented boxer. In fact, out of his 62 total fights, he’s won 59 of them — including 50 of them by knockout! Yikes! And Hayden isn’t the only award-winning half of this duo. Wlad won a gold medal in the 1996 Olympics!

Wlad was born in Kazakhstan in 1976 and moved around a bunch, including to Beverly Hills in 2004 with older brother Vitali, who is also a boxer. No stranger to the entertainment world, Wlad dated German singer/actress/TV personality Yvonne Catterfeld, Czech Victoria Secret model Karolina Kurkova, and German model Alena Gerber before hooking up with Hayden. But when he met the diminutive powerhouse in 2009, he begot all others in favor of Hayden.

Although Hayden and Wlad broke up in May of 2011, they were spotted together again in January 2013 — a month after Hayden broke up with pro footballer Scotty McKnight. Despite refusal to admit that they were an item, Hayden was spotted with Wlad in Florida several times before the story broke that the two are getting married.

Word on the street is that super tall 37-year-old boxer will marry 23-year-old Hayden in a summer wedding this year.
