This Dad’s Sandwich Bag Art is Super Fun and Creative

David Laferriere started with just one basic black sharpie and the need to infuse his day with some artistic expression. Five years later, he's still drawing original pieces of artwork on his two teenage sons' plastic sandwich bags, and his creations totally blew us away!

“The inspiration for the bags comes from whatever may be happening at the time,” David tells Wetpaint Moms. “It could be something we did as a family, a holiday, or a day like Groundhog's Day. The weather sneaks in from time to time. Occasionally I will look at the bread and get an idea; those bubbles in the bread can be like finding shapes in the clouds.”

Wherever his inspiration comes from, David is on a roll, and his sons have yet to ask him to stop, so he must be doing something right! So, so right.
