Porsha Stewart Felt Like a “Prisoner” in Her Marriage

This has been a tough week for Porsha Stewart, filled with divorce drama from all angles. After watching Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we weren't that shocked to see that Porsha and her husband, Kordell, split, but according to Us Weekly, the news came as a big surprise to Porsha.

One of their sources says, "She was 100 percent completely blindsided. Friends are trying to contact her but she's not picking up her phone or returning texts."

Her rep confirms the surprise factor, stating, "Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her. Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media." Harsh!

Porsha has yet to comment on the situation herself, though she did tweet an uplifting message the day the story broke and she also thanked her followers for their supportive prayers.

While Porsha has painted herself as the happily obedient wife, insisting that women should be submissive to their husbands and that marriage is about honoring your king, an Us Weekly insider claims that, in reality, Porsha "felt like a prisoner," adding, "She's young enough to find someone that's really right for her now."

Are you happy to see Porsha regain her freedom?
