Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5 Finale Recap: Kenya Moore Kicks Porsha Stewart to the Curb

It's time for our weekly dose of insanity — here's what went down with Kenya Moore and the rest of the ladies on the Season 5 finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Let's do this!

Last week, Kenya mentioned that she was going to be throwing a costume party, but we had no idea that it would actually turn out to be a gala that required a team of event planners.

In case you forgot, the theme is iconic black women in Hollywood, and Kenya has assigned an actress to each of her guests. What's more, she plans on putting on mini reenactments of scenes from classic movies, like Eddie Murphy's Coming to America. Awesome.

The day of the big to-do, Kenya is expecting 300 people and is nervous as all hell. Across town, the other women are planning their own costumes — Cynthia Bailey as Diana Ross and Porsha Stewart as Halle Berry in B*A*P*S. But, after nailing the costume, Porsha decides that she's being played for a fool and dresses up as Halle's Dorothy Dandridge instead. She wasn't about to be the only person dressed all skanky while the rest of the party was all Hollywood glam.

As it turns out, Kenya herself skanks it up as Pam Grier playing Foxy Brown, and Foxy is pissed. Apparently, she had a whole program planned around the B*A*P*S character and now she's going to have to cancel that portion of the evening. Well, that's not gonna fly with Foxy. Security!

Seriously, Kenya actually calls her security over to escort Porsha out of the party. As soon as the other women realize what's happening, they all decide to walk out with Porsha. Next thing we know, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Pam Grier, and the wrong Halle Berry are battling it out in the driveway. Eventually, Kenya kinda apologizes and asks the women to go back inside.

While Kenya's show kicks off inside with a scene from The Color Purple, outside we have a different scene unfolding between Kordell and Kenya's bestie/assistant, Brandon, aka James Earl Jones. Just as Brandon goes in to ask Kenya to come out and apologize to Porsha directly, NeNe Leakes pulls up as Grace Jones from Boomerang and Phaedra Parks joins the ladies as Eartha Kitt's Catwoman. You gotta love the ridiculousness of the situation. Incidentally, NeNe later claims this is the best she's ever seen Phaedra look, and we sorta agree. Meow!

All dressed up and feeling fierce, Porsha decides to take one for the team and the women go back into the party.

NeNe immediately pulls Kenya aside and scolds her for pulling out her crazies. Oh, how far NeNe has come! We feel like it was only yesterday that NeNe was the one twirling out of control.

She does get through to Kenya because Foxy approaches Porsha to apologize. The women agree they need to sit down and sort stuff out.

Overall, the party ends on a good note, with Kenya introducing her "amazing friends." We'll see how long that lasts when the women hit the couches at the reunion next week.

Do you think Porsha should have dressed up as her assigned character, or did Kenya overreact... again?
