Revenge Show Creator Talks Emily Thorne’s Surprising Feelings For Daniel Grayson
Maybe it’s because they’re primetime television’s most attractive couple, or perhaps it’s because actors Emily VanCamp and Josh Bowman are dating in real life, but we’ve been rooting for Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson since the Revenger spilled her cocktail on the sexy heir in the pilot episode of Revenge Season 1.
And now that Danny knows The Initiative isn’t gunning for Ms. Thorne (yet), he’s clicking his heels at the opportunity to announce their reconciliation. In fact, he’s even taken to Page Six to show off his new couple status, partially as a slap in the face to Victoria and partially to seal the deal with the apple of his eye.
Now Emily is forced to get her freak on with the former poet while Aiden Mathis sulks in the corner. Ugh, Emily your life is, like, so hard. But does the queen of all things revenge actually have feelings for Daniel?
According to show creator Mike Kelley, probably not.
“Whenever Daniel shows a glimmer of humanity and whenever his better angels trump his horrific genes, Emily has hope that Daniel can be a better person in those moments,” Mike told ET Online. “Although, given how he's shown his true colors in a real Grayson way this season, it is no longer a possibility that those two can end up together. At the end of the day, Emily would like Daniel to be better than his parents, but I don't know what he could do to win her heart.”
But Danny’s the one with the endless bank account and rain-soaked yacht proposals! Be smart here, Ems!
