Angelina Jolie Opens School For Girls in Afghanistan
This is how you use your celebrity power for good.
Angelina Jolie, a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill ambassador, told E! News she has opened an all-girls school in an area just outside Kabul, Afghanistan.
The school currently educates 200-300 girls, and Angelina said she plans to open similar schools in other locations. She's using 100 percent of the profits from her new jewelry line, the Style of Jolie, to fund her new foundation, The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. The jewelry line will go on sale later this week.
