Heidi Klum Saves 7-Year-Old Son Henry From Drowning in Hawaii
Heidi Klum is a real-life hero!
The supermodel and reality TV star was vacationing in Oahu, Hawaii, with her seven-year-old son Henry on March 31 when he and two nannies were swept away by a large riptide, according to Us Weekly.
Quickly, Heidi and her bodyguard boyfriend, Martin Kirsten, sprang into action and were able to rescue the three people from drowning.
"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave," the 39-year-old Project Runway star reveals. "Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water."
Luckily, everyone made it to dry land.
"We were able to get everyone out safely," she says. Thank goodness!
It sounds like Henry's swimming skills also paid off.
"Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land," Heidi continues.
We're so thankful that Heidi and her loved ones survived the incident and no one was hurt.
And we have a feeling they'll keep a close eye on the riptide reports from now on.
