Dancing With the Stars 2013: Len Goodman Tells Angry D.L. Hughley He’s Been “Kind” This Season

He’s a tough old guy, gotta give him that!

During a behind-the-scenes package on the Dancing With the Stars Season 16 Week 3 Results Show, we saw D.L. Hughley talking about how the judges were “bullies” and crossed the line with some of their comments. He already told E! News he doesn’t want to be “a verbal punching bag” and wishes his microphone was on during the judges’s Prom Night insults so he could respond.

Host Tom Bergeron gave head judge Len Goodman a chance to address D.L.’s frustrations, and the judge definitely didn't apologize. "I can't get over how kind I've been this season, honestly," Len said. "I’m normally so much harder." Len allowed that "sometimes I do get it wrong" since the judges only have a short time to make a call. However, this wasn't one of those times. "I thought I was a bit generous last night, actually, D.L.," Len said. "I was about on the money."

Well then! Since D.L. was declared safe, they will get to fight again next week. Len wasn’t the only harsh judge — Bruno Tonioli also talked about D.L. needing a hip replacement and both Len and Bruno gave D.L. scores of "5" — but do you think Len has been “kind” this season? Was he “generous” last night with his comments?
