Lena Dunham Lashes Out at Chris Brown in New Interview
Lena Dunham has built a career on provoking her audience and it doesn’t look like she’s planning on changing up her formula any time soon.
The Girls creator and star, who has stirred up plenty of controversy with her HBO show, with its graphic portrayals of sex, drugs, and post-collegiate entitlement, is now directing her shocking behavior at a new human dartboard, but at least this one’s used to it by now.
In an interview with British GQ, the actress compared criticism for her show to the media backlash against Chris Brown.
"You know people who are like, 'It's just not my thing.' Or perhaps their morals don't jibe with my morals, you know, the same way I feel about Chris Brown -- it's not for me, I don't like your attitude and you are not someone I want to take in," said the star.
"Though, admittedly, I've never beaten any of my lovers in a car while heading [to] the Grammys, so maybe I'm just not 'with it' or something," she quipped.
They say you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but we’re sure that with a hit movie and TV show under her belt, Lena’s not hurting for company.
