Ryan Murphy: Glee’s “Shooting Star” Is “Most Powerful Emotional Ever”
We can't wait for Glee to come back from mini hiatus with Season 4, Episode 18: "Shooting Star," which promises to be an emotional rollercoaster. At least according to Glee's creator, Ryan Murphy! "Just saw the rough cut of next week's 'Shooting Star,'" Ryan tweeted on April 3rd. "It is the most powerful emotional Glee ever. So proud of the cast & crew."
Wait, more emotional than the episode where Klaine, Brittana and Finchel broke up? Dang, things must be serious! No official word yet as to what the episode is about, but the synopsis teases that an "unthinkable" event will occur at McKinley High while the New Directions are prepping for Regionals.
Internet sleuths are convinced that this episode revolves around a school shooting, and there's even speculation that Ryder (Blake Jenner) gets shot — as he's mysteriously missing from a group hug featured in a spoiler photo. Considering the tragic events at Sandy Hook Elementary are still fresh in our memory, we're thinking this episode of Glee is going to be heartbreaking. Better break out our trusty supply of tissues and waterproof mascara!
