Olympic Volleyball’s Kerri Walsh Jennings Gives Birth to Baby Girl!
Three gold medals and now three little munchkins!
Olympic volleyball player Kerri Walsh Jennings and husband Casey Jennings welcomed a baby girl on April 6, according to People.
The little one's name is Scout Margery Jennings, who joins her two older brothers: Joey, who's three, and Sundance, two.
The 34-year-old Kerri and her daughter are "healthy and resting," says her rep.
Kerri and husband Casey, a pro volleyball player himself, say they feel “so blessed to have this beautiful new addition to our family."
"We cherish our lil Scout already and can’t wait to watch her as she grows in this world alongside her sweet big brothers," the couple continues in a statement.
Kerri and Casey married in 2005, and they thank everyone for “your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate them all so very much.”
Kerri — who is 6' 3" — and teammate Misty May-Treanor won the Olympic gold medal in beach volleyball in 2004, 2008, and 2012. Kerri hadn't realized that she was five weeks pregnant when she was competing at last summer's Olympic games in London.
Kerri has also appeared on a 2006 episode of CSI: Miami and on the Game Show Network show Extreme Dodgeball.
