UPDATE: Despite rumors that Brooks Forester might come back after July 29’s gut-wrenching first part to the season finale, the man who seemed to so completely win Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock’s heart never returned. That’s okay though because Brooks’ absence allowed Des to realize she actually also had feelings for Chris Siegfried and they're now engaged!
Season 9 Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock has a pretty good head on her shoulders, with both brains and beauty working to her advantage. So, it’s only fair that the brunette stunner has an equally intelligent and gorgeous dude waiting in the wings to woo her when she steps into the spotlight on May 20, 2013, when The Bachelorette premiered. Enter Brooks Forester.
The 28-ish-year-old hails from Boise, Idaho, but currently makes his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. While both towns are delightful, Brooks left the tater capital of the Pacific Northwest-ish region to study at the University of Utah. And before you ask, no, we don’t know whether he’s BFF with Season 8’s Jef Holm, or the big man upstairs in the Mormon suite. Although word on the street is, he’s one of ten kids, so it could be possible...
What we do know is boyf is fine (like the perfect '90s descriptor) and he knows it. He’s also an artist. You know, because conversation is an art, and Brooks loves to spin his words into verbal decoupage projects. When he’s not making ladies swoon with his tongue-twisting charm, he works as a sales rep for Fit Marketing, which describes itself as a “team of savvy marketers” that “literally becomes” a company’s marketing department. Literally.
So, what does Brooks look for in life? The “adventurer, athlete, and model” says he knows how to treat people right and thinks that “inspiration, creativity, learning, and laughter are paramount in his pursuit of happiness.” Sounds like a great guy even if he and Des didn't work out.
